There are big changes looming for Medicare Advantage Plans for 2026.

 

 We have been offering Medicare plans since 1985 and never has there been as big of changes as what's coming in 2026. It is against federal regulations to talk about specific plan changes but we are permitted to give a general overview of that is going to happen before that date. Plan changes will include a change in your maximum out of pocket limits, deductibles, prescription drug coverage, dental and vision coverage as well as any OTC benefits you may have. Some very big names in this field are discontinuing offering ANY plans for 2026. If you are with any of these companies you will have to find a new company and plan.

 

Medicare plans can be confusing. I believe it is everyone's best interest to have an agent that understands the various plans and can advise folks on the best option for them. There is no one size fits all.  For some people the dental benefit can be the most important. For others it may be the prescription coverage or their doctor that is the most important.
